Program Cost & Fees

A Broader View Volunteers works incredibly hard to keep our costs at a minimum. Our low programs fees allow anyone wishing to volunteer overseas the opportunity to do so.

The developing countries with which we work are extremely poor, and the cost of living, expenses and staff wages are very low compared to the USA.

Unlike other volunteer organizations, ABV Program fees are based on the actual cost of living in each of our sponsored countries. There are no hidden or mark up fees.

The deposit fee is already included in the final price.

Program fees based on 7 night increments (example 1 month is 28 nights = 4 weeks)

Additional Weeks: $150 (except South Africa*) Maximum program length is 6 months or 24 weeks. Exceptions: Nepal is 5 months; South Africa and the Philippines placements are 2 months.

Spanish Immersion Programs

Not included: Airfare and travel expenses; passports, entry/customs requirements, all applicable visa fees, airport departure taxes, travel medical insurance, meals outside the program, sightseeing and free-time expenses, items of personal nature (such as laundry, medicine, emails/phone calls).
